Vanishing Starlight Kittens

These creatures come from faraway galaxies. They had to leave their homeland because the light of their stars couldn't give them warmth anymore. Such a thing happens - stars burn out, and we see their light only hundreds of years later from our Earth. However, the stars these little creatures were warmed with will never really disappear. That's because each of them bears that light within themselves. And now they are looking for a new home - to continue living and guarding this vanishing starlight they were born under.
